About No Bugs Exterminator

Why a family business

Choosing a small family business over a national chain has real benefits. The person who quotes your job is close to the person who does it, and the same people come back for the follow-up. When we take on a house or a business, we treat it as if it were our own.

Our focus has always been bed bugs and the control of all household insects and rodents, the problems that show up most in the older twins, rowhomes and apartment buildings of Delaware County. We also handle termites and other wood-destroying insects, stinging insects, mosquitoes and ticks, and recurring service for local businesses.

Meet Thom, the owner

Thom runs the business and leads inspections with a small team. If you read our Google reviews, you'll see his name come up again and again. Customers describe him as unhurried and thorough, on time for appointments, and willing to give honest advice even when a visit doesn't turn into a paid job.

That's the standard for every visit: look carefully, explain what we found, put the plan and the price in writing, and come back when we say we will.

How we work

• Free inspection first. We identify the pest and find how it's getting in before recommending anything.
• Written quote before treatment. You see the plan, the number of visits and the price before any product goes down.
• Sealing and baits before sprays. We use EPA-registered products by the label and lean on exclusion, baiting and monitoring wherever they do the job.
• Open 7 days. Open 7 days, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., so weekend problems get a call back.

What happens when you call us

You reach a person, usually Thom or someone on his small team, not a call center. Tell us what you're seeing and where: droppings in a kitchen cabinet, bites after sleeping, a nest over the porch. We'll ask a few questions about the house, such as its age, whether it shares a wall with a neighbor, and whether there's a creek or woods behind it, because those details change what we look for.

Then we set up the free inspection. Bed bugs, a rodent in the living space or a nest by a door can often be seen the same day when the schedule allows; other problems get the next convenient slot. After the inspection you get the plan and the price in writing, and nothing is applied until you agree to it. Follow-up visits are scheduled before we leave.

The homes and businesses we work in

Most of our work is in the kind of housing Delaware County is known for: brick and stone twins and rowhomes near the Philadelphia line, post-war Cape Cods and split-levels along Baltimore Pike and Route 1, and newer subdivisions in the western townships. We also service apartment buildings and walk-ups over shops, and on the commercial side, restaurants, offices, retail and rental properties that want a written record of every visit. Se habla español, and our Spanish-language page explains our services.

Where we work

We're based at 1210 Heather Knoll Ln, Media, PA 19063 and work across Delaware County every day, with scheduled visits into Montgomery County, Chester County, Bucks County and Philadelphia. See every town on our service areas page.
