How our services are organized

We group services the way problems show up in a house: general pest control and inspections first, then the specialist work for bed bugs, termites and other wood-destroying insects, rodents, stinging insects and yard pests. Businesses have their own section, and urgent problems have an emergency section with what to do while you wait.

Each group has an overview page and a page for every individual service, so you can read about the exact problem you have, from silverfish in a damp bathroom to a wood-destroying insect report for a home sale.

Picking the right starting point

Start with what you can see or hear. Droppings along a baseboard or scratching in a ceiling at night points to rodent control. Bites in a line after sleeping, or rust-colored specks on mattress seams, points to bed bug treatment. Mud tubes on a foundation wall or a spring swarm of winged insects at a basement window points to termite control. A nest by a doorway is a stinging insect job, and mosquitoes or ticks in the yard belong to the yard pest group.

Then think about timing. A single contained problem in a newer house is usually a one-time treatment. Pre-war twins and rowhomes with repeat mice or roaches, and houses that back onto creeks or woods, often do better on seasonal visits. Bed bugs, a rodent loose in the living space and a busy nest by an entrance are worth a same-day call; our emergency page explains what to do while you wait.

Every service starts the same way: a free inspection, a written quote with the plan and price, and only then treatment. Businesses get a written record of each visit.

Choosing a service

How do I know which service I need?

Start with the pest you are seeing. If you are not sure what it is, a free inspection sorts it out: we identify the pest, find where it is coming from and recommend the one service that fits instead of a bundle you do not need.

Can one visit cover more than one pest?

Often, yes. Ants and spiders, or mice and roaches, can usually be handled on the same visit when the treatment areas overlap. Termites, bed bugs and yard programs have their own prep and follow-up, so we schedule those separately.

Do I need a recurring plan, or will one visit do?

One visit is often enough for a contained problem, such as a single wasp nest or an ant trail in a newer house. Older Delaware County twins and rowhomes with shared walls, and yards along creeks, tend to see pests come back each season, so a recurring plan makes more sense there. We recommend one or the other after the free inspection.

Do you offer recurring service for businesses?

Yes. Restaurants, property managers, offices, retail, schools and warehouses can set up recurring visits with a written log of what was checked and treated each time. See the commercial pest control page for details.

Not sure what you're dealing with?

Call and describe it. We'll tell you which service fits, or set up a free inspection to find out.
